General Information about Benidorm

Benidorm which was officially founded back in 1325 and is set within the Alicante province. Benidorm is ideally located along the Mediterranean Sea and is located just 140 kilometres away from Valencia. Benidorm is affectionately nicknamed as Beniyork because of its striking resemblance to Manhattan in New York.

Home to over 65,000 residents, the towns main attractions is the annual festival known as the Festival International Song Festival. Boasting some spectacular views of the nearby mountain known as Puig Campana, Benidorms coastline is split in two by a prominent rocky headland. Benidorm's beaches are known as Levante and Poniente and the area is well known for its sunny climate.
