Nessebar which has been listed as a World Heritage Site can be found along the Bulgarian Black Sea coastline. Home to over ten thousand residents, Nessebar was originally founded in the second millennium B.C as Menebria. This historical town is one of the most visited in Bulgaria with its popular beaches and fascinating history.

There is plenty of historical buildings and sites to explore through while you are visiting Nessebar such as the ruins of the city walls. But if you love exploring through historical Churches then Nessebar is the ideal place to be, here you can wander through the Church of Christ Pantocrator which was built in the 13th century and is protected by UNESCO. The ruins of the Church of Saint John Aliturgetos is another fine example of medieval architecture.
