General Information about Balchik

The pretty coastal town of Balchik is conviently located just under an hour from the historical city of Varna in North Eastern Bulgaria. Set along the Bulgarian Back Sea coastline and home to over twelve thousand residents, Balchik is a town of the Dobrich Province.

One of Balchik's most visited historical sites is the Palchik Palace which boasts many villas with some of these today being used as accommodation for visitors to the area. The complex also is home to a spectacular botanical garden which features over two thousand variety of plants.
